Oficina Caja de Arquitectos is by Spanish Architects Pereda Perez Arquitectos and features a beautifully simple palette of materials. The stone clad entrance hall is left bare except for the addition of what looks to be the classic Poul Kjaerholm PK22 chairs.
The textures in this shot of Pio Pio by Sebastian Mariscal are simply beautiful. The rawness of the timber is offset nicely by the slab of stone used for the counter which seems to hover weightlessly from the wall.
Drama is usually reserved for grand spiral staircases when it comes to hotels. In this instance however, drama is created through some serious attention to detail and a series of monolithic stone treads which slice through the floors.
This stair forms part of the new ALTIS Belem Hotel in Portugal by RISCO Architects.
